During the snow storm we took walks on the beach across the street from our house in New Brighton. Usually we walk, on the beach at low tide because at high tide the whole entire beach is covered with water. Usually we see people sledding on the sand dunes that are covered in snow. On the first day that had the most snow, we saw some people with an ATV and a snow board tied to the ATV. They were snow boarding on the beach. It was pretty funny! I thought that people were snow boarding for fun and exercise because they were stuck inside all day. I felt like skiing behind an ATV... I wished I had an ATV and skis.
We also saw people sledding. Once we saw a little girl with a sled made out of a car seat and plywood that they used to sled down the sand dune. I didn't think that it would go very fast because plywood doesn't go down hills very fast with weight on it. But if they waxed the bottom of the plywood, it would probably go faster.
We walked on the beach and saw tons of people sledding and snowboarding.
