Exchange Rates by sarah

During the last couple of days my dad has been teaching us about exchange rates. On Monday he made us a test that we would half to figure out how much something cost in a different country. Before we did that we wright something down then we estimated how much it cost. After we did that we got a computer to see how much it exchanges for in all the currencies. When we finished we played on the computers. I felt very good in a weird way. Today we went on the lap top and saw the different currencies in the world. They had a chart of how much you would pay to get a New Zealand dollar. Exchange rates are pretty interesting here.

  1. Sarah--look out. Your Dad's training you to be the family treasurer. That's a big job--and you'll have to make big decisions like--should you be saving money today or using it to buy something that's really cool but you don't need? What about something you really do need? How do you tell the difference between them? Questions that a lot of people can't answer.
    love you, bippy

  2. Sarah,
Maybe in a couple weeks when you get better, you dad can give you some money to play the Forex (foreign exchange) market. People have made $millions that way. Unfortunately, they have also lost their homes, clothes, jobs, cars, wives, kids, and the family dogs that way, too. But I have faith in you.
