Guess what happened Yesterday? 24/9/2011

Yesterday, at school Ms. Honey, the office lady, asked me if mommy and daddy had jobs, and I said "no". I knew they needed a visa or for mommy to pay them for Sarah, Zander and I to keep going to school.  Then at lunch time I saw mommy talking to the principal.  When the principal left,  I went over to mommy and she told Sarah and I that it was my last day at CNB school.   I was really sad and then I told Astra that it was my last day .  Then I went to find the rest of my friends and told them.

After lunch, Ms. Jones told Bailey and I to go and help room 4  in the library.   It was Bailey's last day too, he was transferring to a different school closer to his house. Working in the library was fun. I really liked scaning the books, because I was the only one who could do it and I got to give the little kids that were doing what they were supposed to do star stickers.  At the end of the school day my class gathered in a circle on the mat and Ms. Jones gave Bailey and me a card thst the whole class signed. Then I cleaned out my desk and my teacher took me to the office and told the principal that I earned a active learned rist band  and the princeble gave me and a responsable wrist band too.

I really wish I could stay at CNB  because I'll really miss my friends. But hopefully  we'll come back  here after the world tour.

  1. Kayley--you are one of the most positive people I know. I was so bummed to hear that you were having to finish up school. Your writing makes it clear how well you were doing, how fun the activities were, and how many friends and connections you had. [To do that so quickly, you must be a wonderful friend for your classmates!] But then you put this very positive spin on it--thinking on to returning next year. You have a temperament that we all need a piece of. Good job!

I'm looking forward to hearing how the next chapter for you goes. Much, much love, bippy

  2. Kayley, It sounds like you had a challenging day, but you handled it beautifully. Are the wrist bands in the picture the ones that you earned? That a cool idea- to give out wrist bands for good behavior. I hope you hold on to these and your memories of schooling in NZ.
