Hi Z--Interesting material on India. I have a couple of questions, though. You say no bright colors--but I'm thinking of all the saris I've seen Indian women wear and they are beautiful and often very, very broght. Is it just the men that shouldn't wear bright colors?
ReplyDeleteAnd I was very interested in your language offerings--what language is that? Because India has so many different languages that they mostly do everything in English so they can understand each other. So, I think you will be in luck--no language problems. Except their English can sometimes be hard to understand. At least hard for me.
Gramps and I have had a very busy day today--babysitting; opera; and out to dinner. Georgia is just beginning to talk a little--pretty exciting. Tomorrow, we return to Paso and if it doesn't rain Tuesday, we start harvest.
much love to you. bippy
Hey Zander,
ReplyDeleteI like your research. Did you find this information from one sites, or did you look at a few different sites to compile it? How long are you staying in India? I'm impressed that you are going there. I haven't made it there yet, but many of my students come from India. Depending on where you are, you will notice a gesture they do with their heads. It's a side to side head bob. At first, I thought the kids were being rude and sarcastic with me, but this gesture is actually one they do in agreement or to show that they are listening to you.
