Then we went to the swans, ducks and the deer. There was a cabin in the middle of the dear cage. I don't know what it was for but they probably put it there to make it look like a cabin in the woods with the dear.
Next my group went to some of the pigs. The pigs didn't smell good. Ehey smelled like poop. We wanted to hurry away because of the smell. We went to the chimpanzees.next. The chimpanzees are black and atheletic. Next to the chimpanzees, they had a swing that every one got a turn with. The chimpanzee were doing tricks. I felt amazed about how flexible the chimpanzees were.
Then we went to the Lemurs. The Lemurs were white and black and had realy long tails. The lemurs had a baby that was super small and looked the same as the others.
After that, we went to the farm yard animals. First we saw the horse. The horse was brown and had a white stripe down it's nose. Then we went to the lamas. I felt like the lamas were going to spit on me. Next we went to the donkeys. We named one Elvis and the other Presley because they both had big puffy manes like Elvis. Then we went to the other animals. I saw a duck bathing in the river. I stayed there watching it because it was funny. The farm animals were cool and they had a variety of them.
Then we went to see the Kiwi Birds! The first time we went there, we didn't see one, but the second time, we did. It had a long curved beak and had fur that looked like it was pokey. I was excited about seeing the Kiwi Bird because it was my first and only time.
The zoo was very awesome and I liked hanging out with my friends for my last day at CNB school.
Sarah--I'm delighted that you got to return to school for this field trip! Sounds like you had a really good time and saw lots of neat things.
ReplyDeleteLet me also say that you do an awesome job with your writing! Almost every paragraph in this post had a good topic sentence followed by appropriate supporting sentences! Really good work. You need to share your writing insights with others in your family.
