My Christmas Plans by Kayley

Christmas is right around the corner and I want it to be an awesome Christmas.  My family is going to be in Bali for Christmas and in Bali they don’t even celebrate Christmas.  Christmas in Bali is going to be very interesting because no Balinese people will be celebrating Christmas because they aren’t Christians.

This is mommy under the Christmas tree at Port Douglas,Australia,
Here are some of my ideas an awesome Christmas in Bali. I want to eat M and M pancakes shaped like gingerbread men for breakfast on Christmas morning. Then I would like to make lollycake. I learned how to make lollycake at school while doing a math lesson. It’s really easy and you don’t even need to cook it.  Also I want to eat fruit smoothies and fruit salad for lunch. And for diner I was thinking we could go out.  My Christmas wish list consists of a Colored pencil set, ITunes gift cards, and IPod head phones.

Christmas should be really fun if it goes like I planned. I hope Christmas is really fun for everyone this year.  HAVE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

‘Tis the season to be jolly fa lalalalalalaaa lalalalaaa’

                                                     The recipe for lollycake

This is how I made lollycake at school.  I hope you like it.

                        1. Crush a back of biscuits in to crumbs

                        2. Add 1 cup of melted butter

                        3. Mix until it’s a dough

                        4. Putt in some fruit puffs

                        5. If you want you can put some coconut shavings into  the mixture

                        6. Need into a log and cover in coconut shavings.

                        7. Enjoy

  1. Well-Kayley! You've got a good Christmas list and I should think much of it might happen-especially the lollycake. You can melt the butter on the window sill in Bali. But then I'm not sure they use butter there. Do they??

I haven't made a lollycake, but I did make your favorite upside down pear cake the other day and thought of you all the while--especially when we ate it!

We're looking forward to your post telling us how you actually did spend Christmas day and what you and Mia might be buying to restock your backpacks.

Love, love and MERRY CHRISTMAS. bippy
