I did not want stay in NZ because I really missed California. I have not been there in a while. Plus, California is where my Grandma, Grandpa, uncle, aunt and cousins live. The next time we will see the Rolph family is in Spain and that is a long time away. The last time we were in California was for 6 hours waiting for our flight to NZ, but we did not see our family. But we just spent a week with them around CHCH and Nelson for Thanksgiving.
I wanted to stay in NZ after a while because I made friends and we got a house. After we got rid of the house and started to travel we saw really amazing stuff. We went to Mt. Doom and that was amazing because they had some desert, wetlands, and they had mossy trees.
We went to lots of different places in New Zealand, mostly on the South Island. We went to Christchurch for a long time, then we saw our family and went whale watching with them. After that we went on the Routeburn Track. I felt good about that because we did the stuff we were supposed to do in two days in just one. Then we drove to Picton and got on the ferry. The ferry was really fun because it had a playground on it. I felt good about the ferry because the playground was really tiring and the ferry ride was really long. When we got to Wellington we got off the ferry we walked and saw the Beehive, the Parliament building. The Beehive was cool because it looked like an actual beehive! As we drove upthe coast, we stayed that night near Tongiraro Mountain. The next day we got on to the Tongiraro Mountain and I felt good but when we started it didn’t feel good because the track was really bad and it started to rain really hard!
I liked New Zealand but now we have to leave and see the other wonders of the world!
The end

Sarah--It's easy to understand that you hate to leave things that you grow comfortable with. And it's easy to understand that you can have a great time on new adventures. The funny thing is that even adventures that don't seem so great when you are doing them get remembered later as pretty cool things to have done. Not always; but often. So, I'm glad NZ has shaped up to be one of those things that you will be sorry to leave and will remember happily.
ReplyDeleteAs for seeing you--it was very wonderful for us to see you in NZ, and Gramps and I can't wait to come back and see you again in Spain. And after that--well, there's next summer and I'm now in the middle of planning our next family reunion for the summer of 2013--probably in Montana at a ranch that we all went went before you were born. I think you will like it. But meanwhile have an absolutely fabulous time on your travels and remember--even adventures that don't seem so good at the time get remembered as really cool things to have done!!
Much love Sweetheart and keep giving us your wonderful posts. bippy
